I think the difference between selfishness and discernment might be in the criteria. For example, if I were church hunting, I would look for one that needed the skill set God has given me to help build his church. I don't think that's a selfishness-generating criterion.

On the other hand, too many are looking for a perfect church that tickles their ears, entertains their minds, and has sufficient programming (and maybe a coffee house). They may need to plant somewhere.

in terms of technical quality, the order from best to worst: 1. 5. 3. 2. 4.

stylistically, i think 1 is the best; but 5 is a close second.

Great list. We launched Tweepi 2 weeks ago to fill the gap in some of these applications. Tweepi provides information about each user listed including number of tweets, rts made, how many times rt'ed, replies sent/received and so on.

I had a chocolate desert the other day. Not just any ordinary chocolate desert, but the warm moist kind, where the smell reaches your nose before the plate gets to the table. There is a firm outside that takes a bit for your spoon to get through, but closer to the center is more moist and juicy where you discover why it is served with a spoon - to allow one to scoop up the warm chocolatey goodness and feel it throughout one's mouth, then breath in through the nose to maximize the taste/smell pleasure. But anyways, I just gave glory to that chocolate desert because it satisfied me. This is the kind of thing that these two men do for Jesus, because he satisfies them. Perhaps they would disapprove of a conversation that argues which one of them is the most satisfying - since they are not satisfied by themselves or each other, but by Jesus. I love you!!

Thanks for the info. I was only dimly aware of Worship Leader Magazine's website- I just read the printed version. I also subscribe to their "Song Discovery" CDs, which I highly recommend. Great fresh worship songs, with lead sheets and guitar chord charts.

Matthew, well, looking at the printed version, there were several mini-articles there that had a "more online" footer -- which was to indicate that there was more to the mini-article online. While I did find several other full articles at http://www.worshipleader.co... , I did not find mine there (yet?).

Wow! I'm speechless. I just discovered this chat site in Digital Point Forums and it blew me away. You can translate your conversation instantly in the chat room while you chat...and into any one of 45 different languages. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before everybody is talking about this site. I will always remember that I was one of the first who found it.

By the way, I was a member (briefly) at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church some years back- how was your visit? I just built the same skype-a-saurus that Leo Leporte did. I just exchanged the fans on the four computers to reduce noise. It works great! I use Wirecast to stream + record everything live to ustream.tv. What I am working on now is a way to stream the finished wirecast product back to the skype callers. Right now they cannot see the finished product except for on ustream.tv during live stream, which is not sufficient due to the 5-15 second delay for the live feed depending where in the world the skype caller is.

I'm from Miami, Florida and planted a 2nd-gen hispanic church. I'd love to hear some of the issues that 2nd-gen Koreans deal with to see the similarities with 2nd-gen hispanics. I'm sure there are parallel issues.
