Betsy, thanks for your comments. I had not read Jonny Baker's post (I'm actually very behind on any blog reading, so have resorted to blog skimming, randomly, at best) -- and just did, and glad I did.

Yes indeedy, those were the very notes I took up with me. I read the Scriptures from my iPod (did some screen captures of YouVersion screens, so I wouldn't have to rely on any internet connections), but wasn't able to figure out how to write random notes on an iPod, so I used an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper, as pictured.

DJ thanks for the encouraging post. I'm in a stage of life (just started my 30's) where I'm embracing my different-ness and learning to treasure the way I think and lead rather than trying to conform it to the norm.

Really enjoyed how you connected that to Jeremiah--our gifts and unique abilities are even more exciting as I think about the sovereign hand of God intentionally ordaining those!
