I'm a "blackeye with half-and-half" person myself, but I do have three friends who are VERY sad that the chantico has gone away. (It seems they may be the only three drinking it...oh well). On the thing called "green tea frappaccino"--it tasted like some random chemical with tons of sugar. Worst beverage experience yet (especially when I was thinking 'green tea ice cream' (a flavor delight!). Don't miss that. As for that cinnamon thing--sounds like it has sugar... blech! Sugar in hot coffee is gross (call me a purist... or a snob :-).

Is the Cinnamon Dolce Latte a true latte? Or is it a smaller beverage like the Chantico is??

the cinnamon Dolce is a regular latte and is very good! It is sweet for those who dont like anything too sweet so i get one less pump and its perfect! It tastes like the icing on a cinnamon roll!yumm

I love the cinn latte, but the store by me says they aren't making them anymore. And ew to the blueberry green tea frap, I ordered it instead and it was making me sick. Doesn't taste like green tea at all and I love green tea.

Everyone that likes the cinnamon dolce' latte please keep writing directly to starbucks. Let them know you really like this drink, and they need to put it back on the shelves. I only go to starbucks for this drink only, a friend got me hooked on it. I hate to think about driving to canada to get one... Just keep bugging them for our sake....

I just have to say! I am a huge Starbucks fan and LOVE the Cinn Dolce Latte! I also got sad when they stopped selling it but HERE is the solution!
This is what I did and I am SO happy about it!
I bought an expresso/cappucchino/coffee machine and then bought the ingredients from Starbucks like the Vanilla Syrup and other stuff. They also have their own machine you can buy, plus ingredients.
Just as I am typing, I am drinking my Cinn Dolce Latte! and it tastes exactly if not better than the one I used to buy everyday at Starbucks!
Yes, it means forking out some money and time but if you really love their coffee, think of being able to drink it afterhours or any time you please right in the comfort of your own home!
I even bought the tall Starbucks mugs that look like if you are drinking it right frmo there!
And no, its not hard to make the drink! Very easy and tastes amazing!
Let me know if anyone tries it, I now am a happy Starbucks camper at home!

I forgot to say one thing! I didn't purchase the expresso machine at Starbucks, I bought one for only 50 bucks at Walmart, and it is up to standard so you don't have to spend so much money and still can get a good product. I have no complaints with it and you can buy the ingredients at Starbuck stores and impress yourself by making an amazing latte every time!

Elizabeth, Please let me know the receipe for the Cin Dolce Latte. I would really to make my own since Starbucks does not offer anymore. That is the only reason why I keep returning and I keep getting dissappointed when trying others. I look forward to your response.

I got the folks at my local SBs to sell me the syrup for the Cinnamon Dolce’ Latte a couple weeks ahead of time, so I've been making my own through the Christmas holiday. If they can make theirs better you are going to be hooked because my family and friends are hooked on mine.

i work at a starbucks, and yesterday we rolled out the cinnamon dolce latte. it's been selling alright, and a few people have asked to buy the syrups. here's the deal: a lot of the time, a starbucks can, in fact, sell its syrups at a retail price (generally around $6-$9 a bottle), but with a promotional drink, such as the cinnamon dolce, they won't until the promotion is over for fear of depleting their supply before another order comes in. try to get a bottle closer to the end of the promotion...i'm sure they'll be more than willing to sell it to you (the alternative is pouring it down the sink). so just be patient and you'll get your syrup in no time!

Yup.. my local SB told me that promotional drinks cause them not to sell the syrup. I turned around and went to one of the franchises.. in this case on in a local TARGET store and asked them for a bottle.. no problem at all, got Peppermint and Gingerbread the week before xmas and made them for the family over the holiday.

Turns out a 2 shot latte with 2 tablespoons of peppermint and two tablespoons of hersheys choc syrup work out great for a peppermint mocha... for extra points I dust the foam with the powder from a packet of instant hot chocolate. (my wife is hooked)

This is my favorite drink and they are still making it by me so i guess it depends on how well everyone in your area like it if its not popular than they will move on to the next drink.
